The Entrepreneurs Club held a fall festival themed fundraiser event on Oct. 22 where students could paint and decorate purchased pumpkins.

In the Hatchery the E-Club sold pumpkins, ranging from three to five dollars, to help raise money for the club’s expenses.

“We’ve had a really good turn out and everyone seems to be having a great time,” Daniel Levy, vice president of the E-Club, said about the event.

The pumpkin painting party was organized solely by students, according to E-Club adviser Stephanie Goldenberg.

E-Club officers served as volunteers for Anne Arundel County Parks and Recreation to get the pumpkins at a reduced cost so they could sell them to students.

“It was a lot of fun because everyone got together and got to be outside of the college setting,” Goldenberg said. “[They got to] give back to the community,” Goldenberg said.

First-year psychology student Jeff Calderon said he thought the pumpkin painting party “was very successful.”
