AACC entrepreneurs, dressed in Halloween costumes, bonded over bingo on Tuesday.
Entrepreneurs Club members gathered in the Hatchery for the group’s Halloween gathering.
“I won bingo. I had so much fun,” said Jayce Cord, a first-year theater student, who dressed as a butterfly for the event.
“I love the games and camraderie,” Jesse Trott, a fourth-year culinary arts student, said. “I always have fun at the E-club events.” Trott attended the meeting dressed as The Incredible Hulk.
“This is my first time ever dressing up for [Halloween],” Zainab Rush, a first-year business student from Pakistan, said. “Everything is so Westernized. Everyone knows about Halloween.”
Rush dressed up as Rowdy Yates, from the 1960s TV show Rawhide.
Business management professor Steve Berry said the event was about relationships.
“It’s about the students building relationships with each other,” Berry said. “Students involved work very hard to make sure all of the students feel welcome.”
“The students want to have fun and not be lectured. … and also be able to have, I think, deeper conversations with each other about whatever’s going on in their life,” Berry said. “And believe me, our students have a lot going on in their lives outside of school.”
The E-Club meets every second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
