Students learned how to balance priorities and manage time at an online event on Monday.
The Office of Student Engagement and First Experience held a time management workshop on Zoom for first-year students.
At the event, an audience of students got some tips for how to avoid procrastinating by, for example, scheduling time for tasks ahead of their deadlines.
Kyle Godduhn Braaten, who organized the event, said this is the “third or fourth time” he has offered a time management workshop
Godduhn Braaten, the new student orientation and first-year experience specialist, added: “We offer it because a lot of … first-year students are coming in and they’re not used to the level of self motivation that is required for college.”
